DIFFERENT Strokes for DIFFERENTiated Folks

Well, we are all very different-iated, aren't we, now? Although most students love trying out the new apps, I do have one student who would especially love the challenge of the iMovie. Early in the year, he struggled with writing anything at all on paper without a big fuss; however, I discovered that if I allowed him to respond to a written task with a PowerPoint presentation, he passionately tackled the writing assignment utilizing that medium. Next week, when he finishes his PowerPoint, I will encourage him to try out either the Keynote app or the iMovie app; I feel sure that iMovie in particular will be a big hit with this student because his dream is to become a famous film director someday.
